In Switzerland, a portion of each monthly salary is withheld
for social security and pension benefits. Foreign employees who
return to their home country are entitled to a refund of these
funds.
If you have worked in Switzerland from 1985 to the present and
are over 60 years old, AREWI will check your status and arrange
for these funds to be paid out.
There are no costs for you in the search for your funds - we work exclusively on the basis of commission, which is only payable if we are successful!
Many guest workers only worked in Switzerland for a few months. Some were employed by different employers. Many European workers do not realise that they have built up reserves to which they are entitled while working in Switzerland. On average, each employee is entitled to CHF 4000.
At AREWI, we have made it our mission to find employees from other European countries and help you to assert your rights. We ensure that your collected claims are paid out promptly.
We have made the process very simple for you. First, fill out our contact form. You will then receive a contract authorising us to check your case with the Swiss authorities and to search for saved funds. Send us back the contract with a copy of your ID and details of yourself and your former employers. We will take action immediately. The process from the start of the search to payment to your account usually takes 90 - 120 days.
Important: We would like to point out that a commission of 20% is only due if the search is successful. An unsuccessful search is free of charge for you!
AREWI is an agency based in Zurich, Switzerland, which represents the interests of European employees who were temporarily employed in Switzerland. AREWI's aim is to establish contact with those entitled to receive payments and to take care of the bureaucratic procedures. Many European workers do not realise that they have built up financial reserves during their time working in Switzerland, which they are still entitled to decades after their employment. AREWI reduces the effort for authorised persons to a minimum. All that is required is your authorisation for the search request, a copy of your ID and, if available, your AHV number and details of your former employers. The service is free of charge for clients. Only in the event of success will a commission of 20% be retained from the amount paid out.
